- Where is TradeTek stored on my computer?
- On Windows, the TradeTek application is stored at c:\Program Files\TradeTek Software\TradeTek.
There is a shortcut saved on the desktop to easily launch TradeTek.
On macOS, TradeTek is stored in the Applications folder.
The App is typically dragged to the Dock so it can be quickly launched.
By default, Jobs are stored in a TradeTek folder in the Documents folder of the user account.
Preference data like Assemblies, Lists, Reports and Images are stored in a TradeTek Software
folder. To locate that folder, open the Preferences dialog and click Show button.

On the Help panel within TradeTek:
1. Click the Training Videos button on the Help panel.
2. Watch all videos in the Getting Started category.
3. Watch tutorials in the Bundle Tutorials category for purchased bundles.
4. See User Guide and Answers button on Help panel.
5. If you have TradeTek Cloud, click AI button (must be enabled in Preferences).
6. From AI Assistant, select TradeTek and ask questions on how to use TradeTek.
- Where can I find the link(s) to download my TradeTek License installer?
- Simply download and install the latest version from the TradeTek website home page.
Click the download icon found at the top right corner and select the appropriate link.

- How do I move TradeTek and licensed Bundles to a new computer?
- Use this process to move TradeTek and all licensed Bundles to a new computer.
Launch TradeTek on the old computer, navigate to the Store tab and click the Manage Bundle
button and select your desired Bundle file to launch the dialog.
Click the License Options button. On the presented dialog, with the Release tab selected,
click OK. The Bundle license has been released. Repeat this process for each licensed Bundle.
Choose the About TradeTek command from the File menu. Click the License button to present a
dialog. From the License dialog, present the License Options dialog and release the license.
Install and activate TradeTek on the new computer by using the original Serial Number.
Next, by using the Manage Bundle dialog, select and activate the Bundle using the appropriate
Serial Number. Click the Import button to import the Bundle.
Complete this process for each licensed Bundle.

Select the appropriate Bundle, then purchase, download and install.
From the Store tab, click the Manage Bundle button located in the Bundles button group.
Choose the downloaded Bundle.
Click the Activate button.
Use the Serial Number provided via Bundle Order Summary email after purchasing the Bundle.
Click the Install button and follow any prompts.
From the Help tab, select the Training Videos button.
Choose Bundle Tutorials, then play the tutorial video for the Bundle you purchased.
Keep the Bundle file to access the Manage Bundle dialog or install on another computer.

- Do I need to uninstall TradeTek before installing a new Build or Version?
- For Windows, the install process will generally automatically uninstall the older build of
TradeTek.
On Mac, users must first drag the current TradeTek application from the Applications folder
to the trash before installing a new Build.
On Windows or macOS, users must always uninstall before installing a different edition of
TradeTek. For example, when switching from a Subscription to Lifetime edition, users must
first uninstall TradeTek.
- On Windows, uninstall TradeTek from the Windows control panel.
(The shortcut icon on the desktop is not removed.)
- On Mac, drag the TradeTek application icon from the Applications folder to the trash.
It never hurts to uninstall TradeTek first before installing a new Build.
After installing TradeTek, launch and check the About TradeTek dialog to confirm the
Version and Build number.
